Injection moulding is the most important part in the process of masterbatch processing. It is unavoidable for us to be disturbed or interested in this kind of problem when we produce masterbatch. 1. The temperature of the injection equipment is not well controlled, and the masterbatch can not be fully mixed with the resin when it enters the mixing chamber.
2. The mixing effect of screw is not good without a certain back pressure on the injection moulding machine.
3. Dispersion of masterbatch is not good or plasticization of resin is not good.
The process can be debugged as follows:
1. Increase the temperature of the mixing chamber near the outlet slightly.
2. Apply a certain back pressure to the injection moulding machine.
If the above debugging is still not good, it may be the dispersion or matching problem of masterbatch and resin, which should be solved by contact with the manufacturer of masterbatch.
After using a certain color masterbatch, the product appears to be more vulnerable to cracking, which may be due to the poor diffusion and mutual solubility caused by the dispersant chosen by the manufacturer or the poor quality of additives, which affects the physical and mechanical properties of the product.
The colour is too dark (too light) when used in proportion to the colour master's instructions.
Although this problem is simple, there are many possibilities, specifically:
1. The masterbatch has not been carefully tested, and the amount of paint is too little or too much.
2. The measurement is inaccurate when used. There are a lot of phenomena of random measurement in domestic enterprises, especially in small and medium-sized enterprises.
3. There are problems in matching colour masterbatch with resin. This may be the improper choice of carrier for colour masterbatch or the random change of resin varieties by the manufacturer.
4. The machine temperature is not appropriate and the colour masterbatch stays in the machine for too long.
Processing procedures: First, check whether the resin varieties match the masterbatch and the metering is accurate. Secondly, adjust the machine temperature or speed. If there are still problems, contact the masterbatch manufacturer.

This is often caused by the injection moulding machine. Different injection moulding machines have different mechanical states due to different manufacturing, using time or maintenance conditions, especially the difference in the degree of tightness between the heated parts and the barrel, which makes the dispersion of masterbatches in the barrel different, and the above phenomena will occur.

Some masterbatches have high pigment content (or dyes), in which case migration is normal. Especially when dyes are added, serious migration will occur. There are many possibilities:
1. The nozzle temperature of injection moulding machine is too low
2. The mould finish of injection moulding machine is not good.
3. The product forming cycle is too long
4. Too much titanium dioxide in Masterbatch
5. Dispersion of chromatic masterbatches is not good
After a period of time, some plastic products will fade, the quality of basic pigments used by manufacturers is not good, and drift occurs.
